Our Credit Union was originated in 1933 under the name of Bee Line Credit Union. In 1974 we became the M.S.B.A. Credit Union after 10 privately owned bus lines merged into 1 becoming the Metropolitan Suburban Bus Authority. Although in 1996 the MSBA Bus Company changed it's name to MTA L.I. Bus, the Credit Union decided to keep its official title.
Any employee of MTA L.I. Bus and their immediate families are eligible to become members of the credit union.
We offer many services such as payroll deduction and direct deposit.
All deposits are federally insured up to $100,000.00 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
Our assets exceed $10,000,000.00 and we are continuing to grow.
